Shipping and Refund Policy

Shipping

All orders will be shipped to the address provided upon checkout. Please be sure you have the correct information listed prior to checkout. In the event an item is seemingly lost in transit, Designss by Lane does wait 15 mailing days (from shipment date) prior to beginning a research investigation with the mailing authority. If the package is deemed lost by the postal service itself, replacement items will be issued (please allow 7 business days for the research to take place).

PLEASE NOTE: Designss by Lane IS NOT responsible for delivery delays caused by the carriers (USPS, UPS, FED EX, Etc) and NO refunds will be issued to customers if their order is delayed by the carrier as long as Designss by Lane has transferred the package to the carrier and the tracking number is showing the package is with the carrier.

If the order is returned to Designss by Lane marked as "incorrect address" by the shipping authority, and it was shipped to the address you provided, you will be responsible for cost to have the items reshipped out. You must provide an updated (correct) mailing address prior to shipment. Designss by Lane is not liable for packages lost or stolen once the shipping authority has deemed them delivered to your address. If you need a gauranteed shipping date, please contact Designss by Lane at designssbylane@gmail.com prior to ordering. Additional fees will apply.

 

Returns

We have a 14 day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it in, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Returns will be based on case by case situations, some items not being eligible for returns. Contact us at designssbylane@gmail.com to start the return process. If your return is accepted, a shipping label will be sent to your email, as well as instructions on how to send your item. Items sent back to Designss by Lane without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

  •  No returns allowed for FINAL Sale items, except for if flaws of workmanship are found (as long as the tag has not been removed or the item has not been used, washed, or damaged in other forms). This does not apply to items purchased under "imperfection" items.
  • No returns allowed for customized items, except for if the item was not made correctly on our behalf. If that occurs, please reach out to designssbylane@gmail.com
  • No returns allowed for items on sale or gift cards.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

  • This does not apply to items bought under "imperfection" items.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember if can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
